About the client

Who knew that plastic hangers could do so much harm to the environment? Well, seemingly a team of vision-driven individuals did; all ready to change the status quo and redefine the future. So, here we have a great story, a bold initiative, an adventuresome journey…and the beginning of Hangers etc.

Hangers etc was born out of a desire to embrace sustainability in everyday life and this was exactly how it should look like. A distinctive brand identity, a premium logo, and a meaningful typography was created – all with the brand’s purpose in mind.

 

Concept

For a brand courting savvy buyers, the primary goal for its brand identity was to evoke a sense of luxury and sophistication with geometric patterns and dynamic details. With the letter ‘H’ right at its heart, a sleek style logo with symmetrical hanger elements was brought into existence. It was crafted in a way so that each one of us could see the artwork differently, just like each one of us looks at the world from a different angle.

To elevate the brand identity from ‘good’ to ‘great’ the colour pallet was carefully composed with earthy colours, mature tones, and meaningful combinations. Orange and brown evoke warmth, comfort, liability, and optimism; while green stands for the brand’s purpose, sustainability.

To finalize the visual identity, everything had to blend together just right. Name, colours, patterns, and details were deconstructed and reconstructed just enough times to create the ultimate perfection.
